The Kendall Jackson winemaking philosophy is firmly rooted in our family heritage. When Jess Jackson founded Kendall–Jackson in 1982, his vision was clear – to make the very best wine. He demanded quality in every step of the process.
We start by growing grapes on mountains, ridges, hillsides and benchlands along the cool California coastline that, in combination with the affect of terroir, produce grapes with intense, complex flavors.
We store our wine in barrels, keeping each lot separate and constantly testing to ensure that they develop perfectly. When the wine is ready, our winemakers handcraft each wine for depth, richness and complexity. The care and attention to detail at every step is a hallmark of the family heritage that makes us unique.
