The Generals Daughter restaurant is set in the 1863 Victorian home of General Mariano Vallejos daughter, Natalia. The wrap around porch and gardens, complete with a trellised 120 year old Lady Banks rose bush, bring to mind mint juleps and southern hospitality. The Generals Daughter delivers exceptional food, informed courteous service and well selected wines, in a setting that is warmth and elegance. Chef Preston offers an ever changing menu based around wine country seasonal ingredients crafted in his signature southern style. Guests choose from those menu selections to create their own three to five course prix fixe menu. Chef Preston will gladly create vegetarian/vegan menus and is skilled in cooking for most dietary restrictions. The full menu is available to guests who choose to dine in our bar.
