John Ash, visionary chef and creator of John Ash & Co. restaurant, laid a culinary foundation that has evolved into today's world-renowned wine country cuisine. Today, Executive Chef Tom Schmidt carries on this tradition with his own distinctive stamp of excellence. Tom and his staff believe in making exceptional food and wine fun and approachable, focusing on food without borders that highlights the bounty of Sonoma County.

DINNER MENU
Chef Tom Schmidt's inspired wine country cuisine changes seasonally to take advantage of the abundance of locally grown fresh foods. Tom works personally with more than 30 Sonoma County farmers and food producers to secure the best and freshest ingredients for his menus, and he also oversees the restaurant's own on-site fruit, vegetable, and herb gardens.

Awarded the Wine Spectator "Best of Award of Excellence" for over 10 years, John Ash & Co. features one of the most extensive wine lists in Sonoma County. If new to selecting wines, our wine steward would be delighted to help you choose the right wine to accompany your dinner—or to enjoy on its own. If you're an aficionado, you will relish picking your favorites from our impressive collection, which includes approximately 600 selections from wineries both in Sonoma County and from around the world. Chef Tom Schmidt's cuisine has been developed specifically with wine pairing in mind. A wide variety of wine styles and prices are featured, including many half bottles, large-format bottles, and wines by the glass.

THE FRONT ROOM BAR & LOUNGE
Our spectacular Front Room Bar and Lounge was designed by renowned restaurant designer Pat Kuleto, long-time friend of Vintners Inn owners Don and Rhonda Carano of Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery. In this popular gathering place, situated inside the John Ash & Co. restaurant building, locals and guests of the inn unwind together. Its décor successfully showcases the vineyard setting, creates a warm, rich ambiance, and provides the perfect venue for conversation, relaxation, and fun. Relax with a glass of wine, signature cocktail, or bite to eat and savor an unforgettable vineyard view.
