Relish Culinary School is not a cooking school where everyone meets at the same place and the same time each week for the same kind of class: teacher lecturing class. Not at all. Founder Donna del Rey takes her school—and her students—on the road for each class.
Relish classes can be held in as diverse locations as the plush Hotel Healdsburg, the Michel-Schlumberger winery, a private home overlooking the Alexander Valley or a field somewhere in Sonoma County. Instructors can be as varied as Chef Charlie Palmer of the Dry Creek Kitchen, Colleen McGlynn of DaVero Olive Oils or Chef Ralph Tingle of Bistro Ralph.
Relish is dedicated to offering cooking classes that are entertaining and fun while providing practical techniques and ideas that you can use at home. Relish supports the bounty of local chef, farmers, and food purveyors in Sonoma County and prides itself in highlighting local and organic ingredients whenever possible.
Del Rey creates a relaxed, friendly environment for everyone, from beginners to seasoned chefs. Relish offers more than just its ongoing cooking classes; other private events and services include private cooking parties for a memorable birthday or other event, wine club cooking classes, winery business and trade events and team building corporate cooking classes. These events can be at any locale including private homes. The only requirement is a desire to learn and have fun.
